On 5-7 December 2012 the UNESCO Moscow Office in cooperation with the UNESCO Chair on Culture of Peace and Democracy at the Russian State University for the Humanities and Council for Consolidation of Women’s Movement organize a Regional Forum “Gender Equality as a Millennium Value”. The Forum shall become a platform for research-policy dialogues on gender equality in the context of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) and the post-2015 framework, as well as wider regional gender equality related issues.

A Russian language guideline on how to design and manage equity focused evaluations was launched in Astana recently during the opening session of the Annual IPEN (International Programme Evaluation Network) conference. The translation of the publication was welcomed by participants as there is limited evaluation literature in Russian.
