Minimum Requirements

• University degree in journalism and/or public relations, or a related field 
• At least two years of relevant work experience (could be combined with years of university study)
• Working knowledge of English and Russian (excellent command of written Russian and English)
• Basic understanding of FAO fields of competence – agriculture and food security, fisheries, forestry and rural development
• The position is open to citizens and residents of the Russian Federation.

• Strong communication and writing skills
• Practical experience with social networks and/or maintenance of websites is an advantage

Selection Criteria

• Successful candidate will be proposed a three-months consultancy (national consultant PSA.NAT) contract (30 days on a WAE basis) with possible extension up to 11 months subject to successful performance during the initial three-month period;
• FAO will not provide social benefits (except for limited medical insurance), and will not be responsible for payments to pension funds;
• The duty station will be Moscow. Work could be split between office and home-based work;
