The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in the Russian Federation presented the 2005 National Human Development Report Russia in 2015: Development Goals and Policy Priorities on 17 October 2005. This report, the tenth in the series of the national reports launched by UNDP in cooperation with the Government of the Russian Federation in 1995, is dedicated to the adaptation of the Millennium Development Goals (MDG) in the Russian context. The Report was prepared by a group of independent Russian experts with participation of the UN agencies and support of the Centre of Strategic Research as well as in active dialogue with state bodies. Monitoring of the Millennium Development Goals, being currently customized by the Government for Russia, is a key step in the forthcoming implementation of the recommendations of the National Report.
