ОписаниеDuties and responsibilities:

• Arrange operation of office registry including mail distribution. Receive and screen incoming correspondence (regular mail, e-mail, faxes), attach necessary background information, route documents and maintain follow up system.

• Receive and screen visitors, supply them with available UN and UNODC information.

• Deal with routine enquiries, answer and make telephone calls. Make copies, send faxes, operate office equipment. Update telephone directories.

• Maintain office filing system in accordance with the UN classification rules. Organize effective registry and classification of the documentation and correspondence.

• Participate in organization of staff meetings and take minutes and/or notes.

• Translate correspondence and other documents and interpret.

• Provide administrative support to projects, if required

• Facilitate in organization of events, organize meetings, drafts and coordinates the distribution of necessary documentation for these meetings, and ensures follow-up action.

• Assist with additional tasks as designated by the UNODC Representative or Officer-in-Charge.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Higher education (preferably linguistic) with supplemental training in secretarial, IT, office management.

• Full computer proficiency (office applications, internet), ability to operate fax, scanner, digital sender, other office equipment;

• Good communication skills, sense of responsibility, knowledge of protocol and security issues;

• Fluency in English and Russian;

Russian citizenship or residence/work permit.
