Описание	THE FOOD AND AGRICULTURE ORGANIZATION OF THE UNITED NATIONS (FAO)leads international efforts to defeat hunger and helps developing countries and countries in transition enhance agriculture, forestry and fisheries practices and ensure good nutrition for all. FAO seeks qualified Russian citizens who are interested in an international career and possess relevant experience, excellent analytical capacities, strong communication skills and enjoy working in a multicultural environment. The purpose of this announcement is to form a roster (list) of qualified candidates to fill specific FAO vacancies as they become available in the following areas: ▪ Agricultural Economics ▪ Agro-Industries ▪ Agronomy ▪ Animal Health ▪ Economic and Social Development ▪ Emergency Operations and Rehabilitation ▪ Environmental Protection ▪ Finance ▪ Fisheries and Aquaculture ▪ Food Quality and Safety ▪ Forestry ▪ Information Technology ▪ Land and Water Resources ▪ Natural Resource Management ▪ Nutrition ▪ Policy Assistance and Resource Mobilization ▪ Rural Development You are encouraged to apply if you have: • a university degree in any of the above mentioned fields; • over 3 years of professional work experience • a working knowledge of English Deadline for applications is 30 September 2007. Candidates identified for inclusion in the roster will be interviewed during the FAO Recruitment Mission in Moscow scheduled in October 2007. Applications from qualified female candidates are particularly welcomed. Qualified Russian citizens residing abroad will be contacted and interviewed by phone at a later date. Candidates who applied for the FAO Call for Applicants in 2006 do not need to reapply as they will be automatically considered.
