The UN Joint Program on HIV/AIDS in the Russian Federation (UNAIDS) invites interested organizations and individuals to participate in a tender for providing written translation services and simultaneous and/or consecutive interpretation (languages: English, Russian) during working group meetings, conferences, consultations and round tables with UN support as well as compiling minutes in the format of engrossment.
Please be advised that UN Joint Program on HIV/AIDS in the Russian Federation (UNAIDS) is VAT exempt in compliance with article 7 and point 12 of article 165 of the Tax Code of the Russian Federation and point 2 of the Regulations on applying a zero rate to VAT while selling goods (labor, services) for official use by the international organizations and their missions carrying out their activities on the territory of the Russian Federation. The above mentioned articles were approved by the Russian Government Resolution #445 of July 22, 2006 as well as the Decree of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs #4938, the Ministry of Finance of RF #33 of 04.04.2007 on confirming a list of the international organizations and their missions carrying out their activities on the territory of the Russian Federation zero rate of VAT is applied.

2.Please send you questions about the tender in writing using the above-mentioned means by February 8, 2008.
CONDITIONS
•Mode of payment for services provided - bank transfer.
•Validity of quotations - one year.
REQUIREMENTS
•All documents have to be submitted either in Russian or English.
•Prices should not include VAT.
UNAIDS will select individuals and organizations who submit the lowest quotations.
Participants of this tender are responsible for all expenses pertaining to preparation and submission of an application. UNAIDS bears no responsibility with regard to the above-mentioned expenses.
Technical evaluation, signing and fulfilling the contract will be carried out in compliance with the UNAIDS regulations and procedures.
